Ok, so day 5 started with a small tour to the north coast of Lesbos. This is the place where the boats used to arrive. We went to the place where all the safe jackets are collected. This was so impressive.. We can't even explain... Here are the pictures.

After this we went to the harbor again, giving out clothes. We got some sleep had dinner and prepared for the night. Because the weather was wonderful today it means a lot of boats will depart from turkey. We arrived at the beach around midnight. In de early morning around 3 am we saw the first boats arriving. It was really a crazy night.

Also all the boats they arrive with, are laying here on the ground.

For sure 6 boats arrived last night and we could help with 4 of them, the other boats where picked up by coastguards or other volunteers. The weather was good so most of the people were alright. We ‘ve helped them to get on the beach, give some food and water and keep them warm till the bus was there to pick them up. Some of the refugees are really happy and smiling others seem to be in shock.

It’s hard to write all does stories we hear down in this blog. But if you are curious we can tell you all about it when we are back.

We arrived back in the hotel around 9am. Slept the whole day so day 6 nothing happened.
